The Kumarangk Hindmarsh Island Landcare Group (Nursery) propagates plant seedlings native to the Fleurieu Peninsula region for revegetation and public sales.
Over the past 25 years, they have propagated and planted some 700,000 seedlings across 85 sites, dramatically reclaiming the biodiversity of Hindmarsh Island.
Reliant on the wonderful generosity of bands of volunteers undertaking the activity of seed and cutting collection, sorting, germination and propagation, the nursery produces about 50,000 seedlings per annum.
The nursery is open for sale to the public every Tuesday from 9am–1pm & 1st Saturday of the month, 9am-1pm.

Friends of Nangawooka Floral Reserve
